ð¥What Youâll Bring
As the Head of Talent at Emily Blair Media, you will play a critical role in shaping the success of our clients' talent publicity efforts and managing the public relations strategy. You will be responsible for managing and growing both the talent and PR divisions, developing strategic campaigns, and leading the team to achieve outstanding results.
ð€Â Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PR and talent publicity professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee daily team workflows, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Develop and communicate strategic plans that align with media and non-media objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to drive professional growth.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings and bi-weekly one-on-one check-ins to maintain alignment with company strategy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including accurate timekeeping and legal break periods.
- Assist the Brand department and collaborate across LA, NYC, and UK offices as needed.
- Establish networking opportunities to strengthen relationships with key media contacts.
Talent PR Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for talent clients, aligning with their objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns, press tours, and media events.
- Craft and manage external communication campaigns, including public, press, and media relations.
- Collaborate closely with the UK office and brand team to maximize cross-office synergies.
- Maintain an efficient pipeline of opportunities, ensuring seamless execution by team members.
Client Retention & Acquisition:
- Maintain high client satisfaction by fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Track retention metrics and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
- Identify and onboard new PR clients, enhancing their presence through strategic communications.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for key talent PR clients, offering strategic counsel and oversight.
- Conduct client onboarding, provide regular updates, and maintain consistent engagement.
- Oversee all talent and PR accounts, stepping in to manage transitions as necessary.
Campaign Development & Media Relations:
- Conceptualize and execute PR campaigns that generate impactful media coverage.
- Work with the creative team to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts to secure high-value placements.
Reporting & Industry Knowledge:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data and feedback.
- Provide regular reports to clients, the Head of Operations, and Emily Marcus.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of entertainment PR experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record in client account management and strategy execution.
- Experience managing at least two direct reports.
- Strong media industry knowledge, including digital and social platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
- Established network with celebrities, VIPs, influencers, and industry professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of attention to detail.

 Qualifications
- 4+ years of entertainment PR experience, preferably in an agency setting, with a proven track record in managing client accounts.
- Previous experience managing at least 2+ direct reports.
- Demonstrated team leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Success in developing and executing strategies, setting and achieving goals.
- In-depth knowledge of media, including digital and social platforms.
- Innovative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and skilled in media relations across various sectors.
- Strong network with celebrities, VIPS, influencers, and industry professionals
